John Aranda is currently teaching the applied trumpet students in the music department at Fullerton College.
John graduated with his Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Performance from the University of Southern California.
For six years he played principal trumpet in the State Orchestra of Mexico, the second largest and most prestigious organization in Mexico.
He also was appointed professor of trumpet and sofeggio at the state conservatory. As a free-lance musician here in Southern California; John has had the opportunity to work with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, L.A. Opera, Pacific Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, And many other of So. Cal's first rate ensembles. He is also a member of the Artisen Brass Quintet, the official faculty quintet of Fullerton College.
