His 2015 CD, Housewarming, featuring Grammy-winning vocalists Kurt Elling and Peter Eldridge, was called a “shining example” of chamber jazz in a four-star review from Downbeat magazine. Siskind served as the chair of the Keyboard Area at Western Michigan University, where he taught both classical and jazz piano, since 2014.
