Markus Burger
Director of Music Technology Studies

Is an internationally renowned Concert Pianist, Recording Artist, former Record Label Executive and Educator.

He has been a Professor at Fullerton College since 2005 and was responsible for all major upgrades to the Piano studies area as well as the Music Technology program he took over in 2009.
The Music Technology program today serves about 350 students and is still growing.

He recorded 19 albums as a leader that are distributed worldwide.
He founded the Wittlich International Jazz Festival
He has been a board member of the Jazzhouse Initiatve in Cologne for 10 years

His albums have been on the Grammy Ballot 2006, 2007 and 2008.

He is the winner of the coveted Bach Award of the city of Erfurt.
He won the Jazz Youth awards in Germany’s states of North Rhine Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate
